Suspect
Suspicion has permeated our lives ever since the war on terrorism started. But what is suspect? It was the theme when Toronto’s Alphabet City Festival re-launched with a weekend long cross media examination of suspects post 9/11.

Terrorism
In the years since the events of September 11th, the Western world has become acutely aware of the threat of terrorist activity.  It’s not surprising then that writers are paying more attention to what actually creates a terrorist. We spoke with Neil Bissoondath, Stewart Bell, and Chris Cleave, all whose latest books surround the frightening and complex theme of terrorism.
