HEAT: A Firefighter's Story
When Jon Wells wrote HEAT: A Firefighters Story, it was first published as a series in the Hamilton Spectator newspaper. It told the story of the Canada’s worst toxic fire - which took place in Hamilton July 1997. The series also profiled the life and career of firefighter, Captain Bob Shaw. Now available in a book, we met up with Jon Wells and Bob Shaw’s son Nathan to recount the story of the fire and it’s tragic aftermath...
